Quakers Bats Go Cold Against Bobcats
|
Cleveland Bobcats pitcher Fred Harrison was in fine form, leading his team past the Philadelphia Quakers, 6-0. The Bobcats raised their record to 38-43.
Harrison, a native of Chicago, Illinois, was dealing all game. He kept Philadelphia hitters off-balance, while giving the Bobcats 7.2 quality innings. Harrison threw 98 pitches, allowing 6 hits and striking out 9.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Harrison.
