Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Dallas Wranglers and Los Angeles Pobladores.
Dallas Wranglers starter Steve Coomes turned in a sterling performance against the Los Angeles Pobladores, leading his team to a slim 1-0 win. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Dallas.
The Wranglers got a big at-bat from first baseman Gary Mitchell. For the game, Mitchell went 1 for 3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Dallas a 1-0 lead.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Mitchell told the Dallas Citizen.
