Lords Take Nail-Biter Over Hurons
Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Seton Hill Stadium.

The Baltimore Lords defeated the Toronto Hurons, 6-4, in 11 innings at Seton Hill Stadium. Bob Carter pulled his weight. The 10-year veteran was 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The win went to Gilberto Rivera in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Randy Robins took the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With no one out, Carter hit a sinker from Randy Robins for a 2-run home run. The Lords, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We took home the win," said Carter. "What's not to like?"

Baltimore is now 39-42, Toronto 43-40.
