Bobcats Rally to Win
The Cleveland Bobcats used the hitting of right fielder Alan Romano to subdue the Philadelphia Quakers, 6-5. For the game, Romano went 4-5 with 4 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. The Quakers, at 33-48, have lost 5 in a row.

Mark Bassett delivered a big hit for Cleveland. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the 14th inning to put the Bobcats ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Cleveland manager Daniel Mays.
