Pittsburgh Beats Milwaukee, 5-3
The Pittsburgh Industrials beat the Milwaukee Dairymen, 5-3. Pittsburgh pitcher and Seattle, Washington, native Dennis Visco led the way. Visco picked up the win for Pittsburgh, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 10-6. Bob Cole earned the save, his 12th in 18 tries.

It could have been a different outcome for Pittsburgh, had it not been for Don Keough, the 1966 NBL home run champion . Keough contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Pittsburgh up, 3-1.

"I still think this team can play even better," Visco told the Pittsburgh Chronicle.

The win gives Pittsburgh a season record of 59-29.
