Seagulls Rally to Win, 3-2
|
The San Francisco Seagulls earned a close win over the Twin Cities Northmen, thanks in part to Arturo Lopez. The San Francisco right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the ABL with a 1.04 WHIP, played a key role in the 10-inning, 3-2 victory. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Twin Cities.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when San Francisco center fielder Jose Sosa, facing Rick Lindstrom, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Seagulls the 3-2 win.
"That's baseball," said Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
