A 3-RBI performance from center fielder Norm Parsons, who is tied for 4th in the NBL in doubles with 21, led the Los Angeles Blockbusters to a win over the Denver Burros, 11-7. After today's action, Los Angeles sits at 39-47; Denver slips to 52-34.

With Los Angeles leading 7-4 in the top of the fourth, Parsons hit a curveball from Bruce Cardenas for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Blockbusters ahead, 9-4.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Parsons. "It sure beats the alternative."
