Nate Edwards, who is tied for 5th in the ABL in wins with 10, had a strong outing for the Boston Terriers against the Toronto Hurons at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-0 win. Layton Taylor wrapped it up, recording his 14th save. The triumph puts Boston at 44-42 for the season.

The Terriers got a big at-bat from first baseman Bernie Tudor. For the game, Tudor was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Boston a 2-0 lead.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Tudor.
