The Toronto Hurons picked up a win at Dominion Field, courtesy of Vern Gould. The right-hander helped his team stop the Twin Cities Northmen, 2-1. The Hurons raised their record to 32-55.
Henry Rivera was the walk-off hero for Toronto. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hurons second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Gould.
