Glanden Tosses Shutout Against Atlanta
|
Kim Glanden was dynamite at Twin Cities Stadium, blowing away the Atlanta Generals in a shutout victory. The Twin Cities Northmen starter had everything working as he held the Generals to 6 hits in the 2-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Atlanta skipper Philipe Yazzie. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Glanden finished the game with 3 strikeouts and no walks.
This year, Glanden has made 18 starts, thrown 127 innings, fanned 76 batters and walked 39. His won-lost record is 8-6 with a 2.48 ERA.
