The Brooklyn Bluebirds earned a close win over the Cleveland Bobcats, thanks in part to Dave Gaultney. The Brooklyn left-hander, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1969 draft, played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Gaultney picked up the win for Brooklyn, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 7-8. Bob Hill recorded the save for Brooklyn, his 15th of the season.
