McRae Goes Deep Twice in 4-3 Generals Win
The Atlanta Generals beat the Dallas Wranglers, 4-3, at Bluff Park. Mike McRae, in particular, was impressive. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Gary Ovitt, who is tied for 6th in the ABL in innings pitched with 142.1, was the winner. He's now 6-9. The loser was Barry Gilmore. Ron Cwiklinski earned save number 2 this season.

Atlanta took a 4-2 lead on McRae's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Barry Gilmore in the top of the seventh, propelled Atlanta to the win.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," McRae told the Atlanta Observer.

The Generals now have a mark of 38-52.
