Super Swinger -- Visco Slams 5 Hits
A jubilant Dennis Visco joined the postgame press conference at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Milwaukee Dairymen pitching staff he had just vanquished.

"It may not have looked like it," said the Pittsburgh Industrials starting pitcher, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different."

That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-5 hitting performance, which led to the 14-6 Industrials win.

"He made it look easy," said Brandon Dudley, manager of the Dairymen. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously."

Dennis Visco singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season, Visco has compiled a 11-5 mark with a 2.67 ERA in 19 starts.
