The Chicago Hawks topped the Dallas Wranglers, 9-7, in American Baseball League action at Bluff Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Chicago shortstop Jim Farrar. The victory puts Chicago at 35-62.

Early in the game, Farrar had a 2-run double for Chicago. It was his 21st double of the season and put the Hawks on top, 3-1.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Farrar.
