The Seattle Emeralds racked up a win at Atlantic Avenue Grounds, bumping off the Boston Terriers, 4-3. Denny Goldberg, who started for Seattle, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was Goldberg. He threw 7.1 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Ken Torkelson. The 5th-place Emeralds go to 45-49.
Roberto Soto, the 17th overall pick in the 1968 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Soto contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Seattle up, 4-1.
