No one was more impactful than Jim McCusker in an extra-inning, 7-6 Cleveland win over Washington. McCusker, who finished 4th in the NBL in stolen bases with 33 last year, was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Cleveland win streak is now 6 games.

Cleveland needed the clutch hitting of Ray Gardner to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bobcats on top, 7-6. For the game, Gardner had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
