Sisson Lifts Drillers to 6-2 Win
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 1970 Most Valuable Player Award winner Mark Sisson, the Houston Drillers defeated the Twin Cities Northmen, 6-2. The winning pitcher was Francisco Castro. His record now stands at 9-5. The right-hander went 9 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits for the Drillers. The win elevated the Drillers to 52-46.

Houston took control in the top of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Armando Amador hit a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Drillers.
