Batkin Slugs Bobcats to 14-7 Win
The Cleveland Bobcats extended their winning streak.

The Cleveland Bobcats cut down the Cincinnati Packers by the score of 14-7, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Harold Batkin. Batkin was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Bobcats. Cleveland has run its win streak to 8 in a row.

In the top of the seventh, the Bobcats grabbed the lead when Batkin hit his 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Brian Williams made it 4-3, Cleveland.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Cleveland skipper Daniel Mays.
