Pobladores Shut Out Empires, 3-0
|
In a low-scoring clash between Los Angeles and New York, pitcher Mark Adamson was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned accolades in the 3-0 win. Mike Lowe earned the save, his 2nd in 3 tries. Los Angeles, with the win, climbs to 35-65.
The Pobladores got an important contribution from right fielder Hamilton Craft, who in the bottom of the third punched a full count cutter into center for a 2-run home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Pobladores ahead, 3-0.
"I know we have our doubters," said New York manager John Harris. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
