Cincinnati Ruins Terrific Game by Salas
The Washington Eagles had to overcome a big game from Cincinnati second baseman Daniel Salas to leave Roman Arena with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6. Salas slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Eagles improved their record to 43-58 by beating Cincinnati.

Washington used a timely hit from Dustin Guest to get the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Eagles ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Guest.
