Wranglers Lose to Northmen in Walk-Off
The Twin Cities Northmen got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ben Hall, who muffled the Dallas offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Northmen win at Twin Cities Stadium. Reliever Joe Gibson picked up the win. His record improves to 8-6. Barry Gilmore, who won the Royal Ricketts Award in 1969, took the loss. At 55-46, Twin Cities is in third place in the American Baseball League Western Division.

Darrell Miller was the walk-off hero for Twin Cities. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Northmen third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Hall.
