Seagulls Sneak By Pobladores, 2-1
|
The San Francisco Seagulls used a great performance from fan favorite Tim Stambaugh to beat the Los Angeles Pobladores, 2-1, at Mission Field. The defeat makes Los Angeles 55-47.
Jose Barroso, who is a two-time All-Star, helped out the San Francisco cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a solo home run. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a home run.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Barroso.
