In a low-scoring tilt between the Twin Cities Northmen and the Houston Drillers, Kim Glanden, who is tied for 6th in the ABL with a 2.28 ERA, was the difference-maker. The Twin Cities right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. The Northmen have now won 7 straight.
Glanden confounded Houston hitters. Over 7 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.
"I'm happy we won," said Glanden. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
