Lords Bag 4-1 Win
|
The Baltimore Lords picked up a win at Seton Hill Stadium, downing the Montreal Habitants, 4-1. On the mound for Baltimore was left-hander Bart Dunsley, who played a pivotal role in the win. Dunsley picked up the win for Baltimore, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 10 hits. He now sports a record of 6-2. Denny Boyd got the save, his 17th in 27 chances.
The Lords got a big at-bat from shortstop Mike Caito. For the game, Caito went 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season gave Baltimore a 2-1 lead.
Dunsley said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
