Pobladores Lose at Home, 5-3
|
San Vicente Park was the site of a competitive game between the Los Angeles Pobladores and Chicago Hawks.
Mike Haskett, who is tied for 10th in the ABL in complete games with 4, propelled his team to victory over the Los Angeles Pobladores. The final score was 5-3, Chicago. Alfredo Alvarado finished to wrap up his 4th save.
Chicago used the hitting of Buck DeFalco to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hawks on top, 5-3. For the game, DeFalco had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Mike's as tough as he is talented," said Chicago manager Mike Flaherty.
The 6th-place Hawks have won 6 in a row.
