Behind the hitting of Jim Brookins, the Los Angeles Blockbusters stopped the Chicago Traders, 7-5. Brookins went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Blockbusters. Reliever Cardell Franklin picked up the win. His record improves to 8-6.
