Packers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Bluebirds
The Cincinnati Packers and Brooklyn Bluebirds rewarded fans hoping for nail-biter.

The Cincinnati Packers picked up a win at Roman Arena, knocking off the Brooklyn Bluebirds, 4-3. Starting pitcher Ramon Juarez was a big reason why. The 6th-place Packers improved to 49-56.

Cincinnati won the game in the bottom of the 16th inning. With two outs and Pete Cook on the mound for Brooklyn, center fielder Cory Ruoff hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Packers fans to their feet.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Ruoff said.
