Pobladores, Arndt Silence Twin Cities, 4-0
|
Jim Arndt kept the Twin Cities Northmen hitters from doing much damage at Twin Cities Stadium.
Twin Cities could only muster 1 hit and draw 1 walk against the right-handed Arndt, who controlled them throughout the game. Los Angeles won the contest, 4-0. Arndt added 3 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.
"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Arndt told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
So far this year, Arndt has compiled a 11-6 record with a 4.31 ERA.
