Bulls Stymied by Traders, Cox
|
Larry Cox pitched a gem in leading Chicago to a 7-1 victory over the Kansas City Bulls. Chicago goes to 55-56, Kansas City to 59-52.
Cox was in the zone all game. He frustrated Kansas City hitters while giving the Traders 9 innings of quality work. Cox threw 119 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 8 punchouts.
