Eagles Drop 2-1 Decision
The Milwaukee Dairymen racked up a win at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium, bumping off the Washington Eagles, 2-1. Chris Davalos, who started for Milwaukee, pitched effectively for his team. The Eagles drop to 4-8, as their stumbling start to the 1977 season continues.

Roberto Matallana did the little things right to help the team for Milwaukee. The 23-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Bill John. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Davalos.
