Generals Pin 3-1 Loss on Toronto
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Atlanta Generals and the Toronto Hurons, pitcher Ron Bargiel was the difference between victory and defeat. The Atlanta right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Generals win. Toronto has now lost 4 in a row.
Making an impact for Atlanta was left fielder Mike McRae. Bull drilled a double off Dave Hamilton in the bottom of the third. For the game, McRae went 1 for 4 with a double.
"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," McRae said.
