The Baltimore Lords beat the Boston Terriers, 7-3. Baltimore pitcher and Jacksonville, Florida, native Frank Governor led the way. Baltimore is now 61-47. Boston is 44-65.
With no one out in the bottom of the first, James Pendleton put Baltimore in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Lords went on to win the ballgame.
"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Boston manager Phil Palapa.
