Habitants Use Late Surge to Win
The Montreal Habitants knocked off the Chicago Hawks, 7-2, in American Baseball League action at Hyde Park Stadium. Montreal pitcher and Santiago, Dominican Republic, native Oscar Rodela had an outstanding performance. Chicago, at 2-10, is off to a dreadful start in 1975.

Hervé Lelièvre had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the eighth for the Habitants. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Montreal trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.

"I thought we played a nice game," Rodela told the Montreal Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
