The winning streak continued for Twin Cities.
The Twin Cities Northmen beat the Houston Drillers by a score of 7-6. Twin Cities left fielder Bill Milligan deserved the lion's share of the credit. Milligan went 2-4 with a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Northmen. Ivan Alcala was the winning pitcher. Over 8 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 8 hits, with 4 walks and 9 strikeouts.
In the bottom of the fifth, with the game tied, Houston allowed the Northmen to go up, 2-0, on a Houston error.
