Captains Rally to Nose Past Milwaukee
The San Diego Captains knocked off the Milwaukee Dairymen, 5-4, in National Baseball League action at San Diego Sporting Complex. San Diego pitcher and Dallas, Texas, native Ray McKenzie had an outstanding performance. The Captains improved their record to 57-58 by beating Milwaukee.

In the bottom of the sixth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, 23-year old catcher Bob Kidder won it for San Diego. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Kidder hit a full count changeup from Andy Campbell for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.

McKenzie said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
