Burros Send Los Angeles Home with 2-1 Loss
|
Gates Crescent Park hosted a real pitchers' duel.
In a tight tilt between Denver and Los Angeles, pitcher Kim Glanden was a key contributor. The right-hander earned accolades for his standout performance in the 2-1 Burros win. The National Baseball League Western Division-leading Burros have a record of 68-47.
Chuck Carr contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With a runner on 3rd, he reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. His at-bat helped Denver get the win.
"Kim is one tough son of a gun," said Denver manager Clark Anderson.
