Gutierrez Leads Dairymen to Win
The Milwaukee Dairymen turned back the St. Louis Explorers, 5-4, at Corps of Discovery Stadium. Angel Gutierrez, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Dairymen go to 44-71 with the win.

Cliff Bragg, who is tied for 8th in the NBL in doubles with 27, helped out the Milwaukee cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley. "It's usually not just one thing."
