The Kansas City Bulls racked up a win at Roman Arena, bumping off the Cincinnati Packers, 8-4. Dick Scorza, who started for Kansas City, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, the Bulls hiked their record to 61-51.

Larry Moses, who finished 3rd in the ABL in doubles with 29 in 1968, helped out the Kansas City cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Moses.
