The Dallas Wranglers did just enough to sneak past the Atlanta Generals, 3-2, at Bluff Park. Dallas pitcher Joaquin Hernandez, in particular, had a standout performance. Dallas has now reeled off 9 straight wins.

The Wranglers got a clutch hit from center fielder Ron Palmer. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Wranglers.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie.
