Seagulls Improve to 60-55 with 9-1 Win
|
San Francisco Seagulls starter Paul Lake kept the Seattle Emeralds hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 9-1 win. At 60-55, the Seagulls find themselves in third place in the American Baseball League Western Division.
Bob Raab had an important at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second, when he hit a grand slam home run. His 10th home run of the season put San Francisco on top, 7-1.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Raab.
