Twin Cities Rallies for 5-3 Win
The Los Angeles Pobladores could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Dave Wynn into a win. Instead, the Twin Cities Northmen prevailed, 5-3. Wynn threw 7.0 innings allowing 1 run. Rick Lindstrom, who is tied for 8th in the ABL in saves with 16, was the winner in relief. His record is now 7-8. The losing pitcher was Shane Frassrand. Twin Cities is now 53-67, while Los Angeles is 52-67.

Steve Pavey provided a timely hit. The Twin Cities second baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Northmen on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
