The Boston Terriers wiggled past the Toronto Hurons, 3-2, at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. The win was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Bob Schar. Boston has a 3-game win streak, while Toronto has lost 5 in a row.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when first baseman Armando Carrillo, who finished 2nd in the ABL in OPS with .883 in 1965, hit a 2-run double. The Terriers went on to win.

"Bob just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Boston manager Joe Peters.
