Bulls Slap 8-6 Loss on Los Angeles
Kansas City beat Los Angeles in a rain-soaked ballgame.

Behind the hitting of Chris Taylor, the Kansas City Bulls stopped the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 8-6. Taylor was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Bulls. Bob Crosby collected save number 27.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Bulls grabbed the lead when Taylor hit his 20th double of the season. The 2-run double off Larry Shears made it 7-6, Kansas City.

"We ground out the win," said Taylor. "That's all that matters."

The win lifted the Kansas City record to 65-53.
