The home crowd had a good time watching the San Diego Captains and Milwaukee Dairymen get after it.

Milwaukee Dairymen starter Tom Rockliffe found his groove in his team's 7-3 win over the San Diego Captains. Rockliffe yielded 3 runs over 8.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 4-7.

There was more than one reason the Dairymen beat the Captains, but Rockliffe's big at-bat in the bottom of the second was an important factor. He staked his team to a 3-1 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Rockliffe.

The Dairymen raised their record to 48-74.
