Bobcats Need Extra Frames to Get Past Eagles
|
Cleveland Bobcats starter Tim McDonald was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Washington Eagles, 2-0. Marv Traber, credited with the save, is now 4 for 4 in save opportunities. The Bobcats raised their record to 61-57.
The Eagles had trouble solving McDonald, who surrendered no runs on 4 hits over 8.1 innings.
"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Bobcats manager Daniel Mays.
