Jacobs Hits 2 home runs in Northmen Win
|
The performance of Carl Jacobs proved critical in helping Twin Cities beat Houston, 4-2. The Northmen right fielder hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Gerald Gross got the win, improving to 8-4. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 4. Twin Cities sits in 6th place in the American Baseball League Western Division at 56-67.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Jacobs. "And not try to do too much."
