|
Lute Eccles was a major factor in the 9-3 Houston win over Twin Cities. The Drillers catcher was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 5 runs. The winning pitcher was Angel Colon. He tossed 128 pitches over 7.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. The first-place Drillers have won 5 in a row.
