Hawks Rally to Eke Out Win
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Chicago Hawks and Baltimore Lords.

In a low-scoring contest, Chicago pitcher Ken Eldridge was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-1 win in 15 innings. The Hawks now have a record of 42-81.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 15th inning, when Chicago right fielder Mark Morris, facing Phil Morris, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Hawks the 2-1 win.

"This win should put a little bounce in our step," said Eldridge.
