Palacios Homers Twice in 9-3 Generals Win
Behind a solid performance from second baseman Roberto Palacios, the Atlanta Generals defeated the Boston Terriers, 9-3. Palacios went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Generals. Dan Henry got the save, the 1st for him this season. The loss drops Boston to 7-6.

Early in the game, first baseman Ed Mika had a 2-run home run for Atlanta. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Generals on top, 2-0.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Mika.
