Twin Cities and Seattle duked it out and the Northmen came out victorious.

Seattle got a terrific performance from pitcher Pat Burkholder, but it wasn't enough to beat the Twin Cities Northmen. Twin Cities won the Puget Field contest, 6-4. Burkholder threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Frank D'Amico picked up the win, lifting his record to 8-10 on the season. He struck out 3 and walked 0 in 7 innings, while yielding 2 runs.

Dave Weaver provided a timely hit. The Twin Cities pinch hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Northmen on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Pleased with the effort and the win," said Northmen manager Jason Gudim.

The Northmen improved their record to 58-70 with the win over Seattle.
