Baltimore Lords pitcher John Fredrick was in top form, leading his team past the Atlanta Generals, 4-0. The defeat makes Atlanta 64-62.

Baltimore left fielder Tom Payton contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a changeup to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 116th hit of the season and put the Lords ahead, 3-0.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Philipe Yazzie.
