The Washington Eagles beat the Cincinnati Packers by a score of 5-3. Washington left fielder Jeff Lawler deserved the lion's share of the credit. Lawler went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs for the Eagles. John Walker, the winning pitcher, is now 4-11.
